6 Seed Potato Varieties to Choose From!
Stop by the B Street greenhouse, the bags and boxes of seed potatoes are inside on the floor. Each bag or box has the variety name on it. These are free for you to grow, thanks to Ed’s Edible Landscaping.
Here’s a little about each:
Fiesta
A potato with purple skin and dark purple flesh.
King Edward
An oval potato with white and red skin and white flesh.
Magic Myrna
Red and white skin with yellow flesh and a taste similar to a sweet potato.
Magic Myrna
Large potato with gold skin, gold flesh, and big yields.
Red Pontiac
All-purpose potato with thin, red skin and sweet, white flesh.
Yukon Gold
Yellow skin and yellow flesh with early and big yields.
