Douglas Community Gardens

Our members maintain community garden plots at two locations in Douglas, Alaska. We also host public events to connect our gardens with the community.

1

History

The Douglas Community Gardens started in 2009 with gardens on B Street and Crow Hill.

2

Douglas Fruiting Forest

New in 2015! A public fruiting forest to pick fruit and other edibles at the end of 4th Street.

3

Support the Gardens

Become a member, attend our public events or grow in our gardens! Plotteries take place each March.

4

Community Gardens

There are many benefits to community gardens from health to education.
